35th ANNUAL GREAT OUTDOOR
BEAVER MEETING
Beaver, Utah
September 2, 3, 4 & 5, 2010
Thirty-four years ago, a small group of alcoholics, pooling their
resources, made a pre-arranged overnight stop in a small Utah town on
their way to the 1975 International Convention in Denver, Colorado. They
found the people in town so accommodating and friendly and the natural
beauty and atmosphere so inviting, they decided to return the following
year to camp and share with one another over the Labor Day Weekend. This
tradition has continued over the years and the magic of that first
overnight stop is still happening every Labor Day Weekend.
